GUIDED TOUR INFORMATION

 

Since 1895, Azienda Agricola Bertinelli has believed in a sustainable future, producing Parmigiano Reggiano with the milk from its own cattle, fed with hay from its own fields cultivated using organic methods. A unique, complete, and rare supply chain in the production landscape of the area.

The dairy is open for guided tours by appointment.

The tour, lasting approximately 30/40 minutes, includes all stages of production, including the aging warehouse. At the end, there is a vertical tasting of 3 ages of Parmigiano Reggiano and its soft cream, accompanied by a glass of Lambrusco or Malvasia (and/or water).

The tour concludes in the Farm Shop with our dairy products and others from the territory. The facility also includes the Hosteria, with the possibility to combine the tour with a lunch or dinner featuring locally sourced menu items.

HOURS AND VISIT

The first tour starts at 7:30 AM and includes watching the milk processing. The second tour starts at 8:30 AM and includes the birth of Parmigiano Reggiano wheels.

During other times and until 5:30 PM, you can experience a visit to the dairy, observing the tools and additional processing stages up close.

All tours include a visit to the aging warehouse, where you can walk through the towering aisles with hundreds of wheels of Parmigiano Reggiano.

Note: Children aged 5 to 12 pay half price.

TOUR OPERATORS

We are pleased to welcome groups larger than 20 people to offer a visit that ensures maximum emotional and educational engagement throughout the tour.

Tour operators can request special rates and adjustments to the reception and tasting based on the number and needs of the groups. We can provide guides in English, French, German, and Spanish.
